Anime Chefs takes a roster of anime characters and puts them to work in a kitchen — except the cooking is a battle. Your chefs cook enemies into dishes, turning snacks into full meals while you fight alongside them, and the better your team, the bigger and stranger the menu gets. It sounds ridiculous, and it is, but the loop of unlocking new chefs and growing your little kitchen is genuinely moreish.
Everything in that loop runs on Gems, which is why the codes matter: every single one of the twelve live codes pays out in Gems and nothing else. Added up, they are worth over 1,800 Gems — enough to unlock a solid set of chefs and give a new kitchen a flying start.
All New Anime Chefs Codes
- update1.1.6: 100 Gems (==NEW==)
- drizzosmells: 100 Gems (==NEW==)
- bugpatchjonax: 700 Gems

Work from the top: bugpatchjonax is the jackpot at 700 Gems, worth seven of the standard codes on its own, and update1.1.6 and drizzosmells are the newest of the set. The rest are flat 100-Gem top-ups — individually small, but there are nine of them, so the full sweep adds up quickly.
Expired Anime Chefs Codes
The game is young enough that nothing has been retired yet — every code it has ever released is still in the list above.

How to Get More Anime Chefs Codes
Anime Chefs Studios drops codes around updates and bug-fix patches — the names give the game away, with codes like bugpatchjonax and SORRYFORBUGS arriving after rough launches. The game’s Roblox page and the developer’s social channels are where announcements surface first, and patch days are the days to watch.
If you would rather not chase them, keep this page bookmarked. We re-check the full list whenever the game updates, and any new code gets added here once it has been verified in more than one place.
Why Are My Anime Chefs Codes Not Working?
Double-Check for Typos: Several codes end in an exclamation mark — chef! and sowwykittens! will fail without it — and update1.1.6 has to be typed with its exact dots and digits. Copy each code from the list rather than typing it.
The Code Has Expired: Nothing has expired so far, but launch-era codes like RELEASE are always the first candidates to be switched off. When one does die, it will be moved into the expired section here so you can check instead of guessing.
You Skipped the NPC Interaction: The code box does not open from the button alone — you need to hold E at the NPC as well. If clicking Codes seems to do nothing, stand by the NPC and hold the key until the entry field appears.

Conclusion
Twelve codes, 1,800-plus Gems, and not one of them expired yet — Anime Chefs is being unusually generous while it is young. Claim bugpatchjonax first, sweep the 100-Gem codes after it, and come back after the next patch, because this developer clearly likes apologising with free Gems.
