Protect the King is a co-op wave survival game with a Marvel-flavoured twist: Shuma-Gorath has woken up, monstrous hordes are pouring across the kingdom, and Conan the Barbarian has shown up to help you hold the line. Your job through all of it is simple to say and hard to do — the king does not fall.
Gold is what you spend between waves to keep your defences ahead of the horde, and codes are the quickest way to top it up. The pickings are slim at the moment, with just two codes currently working, but 80 free Gold is still 80 Gold you did not have to survive for.
All New Protect the King Codes
- FREEGOLD: 50 Gold
- GOLD30: 30 Gold
Both codes take under a minute to redeem together, so grab them before you queue for a match — spending Gold early, while the first waves are still manageable, sets up the whole run.
Expired Protect the King Codes
The three former codes below have fallen in battle:
- HARBINGER
- DOMTHESLAYER
- XMAS25
How to Redeem Protect the King Codes
- Launch Protect the King on Roblox.
- Play through the short tutorial if this is your first time in the game.
- Press the CODE button in the top-left corner of the screen.
- Type your code into the box and press REDEEM to claim your Gold.
How to Get More Protect the King Codes
New codes for this game have been rare so far — the developers at Funcomofficial have mostly released them around events and content drops, like the Christmas code that has since expired. The game’s Roblox page is the first place any new drop will show up, so give it a look whenever a fresh update is announced.
Keep this page bookmarked and check back after major updates; the moment a new code is released and confirmed, it will be added here.
Why Are My Protect the King Codes Not Working?
Double-Check for Typos: Both active codes are short, all-capital words with a number attached, and the game will reject anything that does not match exactly — an extra space at the end is enough to fail.
The Code Has Expired: Event codes such as XMAS25 were only ever live for their event window. Once that window closes, the code stops working permanently.
Finish the Tutorial First: The CODE button does not become available until you have completed the tutorial, so if you cannot see it, play through the introduction and look again.

Conclusion
It is a short list, but free Gold is free Gold — redeem FREEGOLD and GOLD30 now, put the 80 Gold to work on your next defence, and we will update this page the moment Funcomofficial releases something new.
