Subterra is what happens when Minecraft’s digging meets Terraria’s 2.5D adventure: you mine down through layer after layer of underground, forge better gear from what you haul up, and fight off the things that live in the dark below. Every run ends with a choice — bank your loot, or push one layer deeper and risk it all.
Chrono Shards are the currency that matters most, feeding the Chrono Crystal’s ability-card draws, and the codes below are the cheapest shards you’ll ever earn. Five are confirmed working right now, including two from the latest hotfix, plus long double-XP windows that make a levelling session fly by.
All New Subterra Codes
- HOTFIX1.4.60: 280 Chrono Shards (==NEW==)
- UPDATE: 140 Chrono Shards (==NEW==)
- 1YEAR: 1,400 Chrono Shards
- FEATURED: 32 TNT Blocks and 1 hour of Double EXP
- 30KLIKES: 2 hours of Double EXP
The double-EXP codes are the ones to handle carefully: FEATURED gives you an hour and 30KLIKES gives you two, and both timers run in real time. Redeem them back to back at the start of a proper mining session, not while you’re standing around in the lobby sorting your backpack.

How to Redeem Subterra Codes
- Launch Subterra on Roblox.
- Finish the tutorial if this is your first time playing.
- Walk to the Codes NPC in the lobby — it’s by the spawn gate, across from the Sell area.
- Interact with the NPC and type a code into the text box.
- Press the Claim Code button to receive your shards.
How to Get More Subterra Codes
Polyworks Studio releases codes around updates, hotfixes and community milestones, and the announcements land first in the official Subterra Discord server and the Polyworks Studio Roblox community. Hotfix codes in particular tend to appear with almost no warning, usually as an apology for a rough patch.
Because of that, it’s worth keeping this page bookmarked — we re-check the list whenever the game updates, so a surprise hotfix code will be here, verified, instead of buried in a chat channel.
Why Are My Subterra Codes Not Working?
Double-Check for Typos: Subterra’s codes are case-sensitive and some are genuinely awkward — CRASHFIX? included a question mark (it’s expired now, but HOTFIX1.4.60’s string of digits is just as easy to fumble). Copy and paste to be safe.
The Code Has Expired: Milestone codes get retired as the game grows — the 25K and 100K member codes are already gone or disputed, and every entry in the expired list above was a working code once. The newest update codes are always the safest bet.
You Haven’t Joined the Community: Subterra requires you to be a member of the Polyworks Studio community on Roblox before you can claim codes at all. Join the group, restart the game, and the Codes NPC will accept your codes.
More Roblox Codes You Should Check Out
- Bey Rivals Codes
- Cameraman Tower Defense Codes
- Blox Fruits Codes
- Anime Vanguards Codes
- Yeet A Brainrot Codes
Conclusion
Five codes are live in Subterra right now: 1,820 Chrono Shards between the shard codes, a stack of TNT, and three hours of double EXP if you chain the boosts. Join the community first, redeem at the NPC, and save those XP windows for a long session underground.
